- 🥔Potato800g
- 🌾Plain Flour200g
- 🥚Eggs1
- 🧂Salt1 tsp
- 🛢️Vegetable Oilfor frying

Method

Peel and cut potatoes into thick chips. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes.

Dry chips thoroughly. Fry at 160°C for 5 minutes, then drain.

Mix flour, salt and egg with cold water to make batter.

Pat fish dry and coat in batter.

Fry fish at 180°C for 5-6 minutes until golden.

Fry chips again at 190°C for 3 minutes until crispy.
